Mark Dehner
Mark is currently active in community sustainability initiatives including working with Mid-America Regional Council’s Sustainable Communities Leadership Program and championing the Greater Kansas City Electric Vehicle Plug-In Readiness Task Force. Over the past several years, Mark has pursued an interest in combining unique real estate assets characteristics with educational and entertainment programs aimed at providing transformational and enhanced leisure experiences. In 2007, Mark was instrumental in the formation of Eatertainment Venues 4.0, a venture which brings together a leading team to design, build and operate learning/leisure experience destinations with family appeal, community support and sustainable practices. Prior to his current efforts, Mark served as President and co-founder of CoWorks Corporation, a software and electronic information publishing company that developed first-of-a-kind licenses to redistribute data serving business and academic institutions. The company’s system allowed individuals to visually detect and analyze trends on cross-disciplinary and international conditions and was recognized as a groundbreaking achievement for people whose livelihood depends on precise, well-organized data analysis. Through his various activities, Mark has developed extensive experience in strategic planning, acquisition analysis, project development and management. He has demonstrated a proven ability for concept generation, strategic partnering, and the orchestration of collaborative efforts through entrepreneurial leadership and promotion of innovative products and services. Mark, 53, received an MBA from the Rockhurst College Executive Fellows Program in 1988 and a BGS from the University of Kansas in Geography in 1979, specializing in urban planning and environmental studies. |
